VIK ACADEMY - JOINING THORNHILL CHILDCARE SOCIETY
V.I.K. Society of Alberta is happy to be working with Thornhill Child Care Society to ensure the continuance of quality services to the community of Okotoks. In July 2020, the Government of Alberta announced the elimination of the $25/day daycare initiative; the pilot project is due to end on March 31, 2021. With the announcement coming to us in the midst of the pandemic, V.I.K. Society of Alberta looked for creative ways to ensure quality services and reasonable fees would continue. COVID-19 UPDATES- REOPENING JULY 2ND
V.I.K. ACADEMY will reopen on July 2nd, 2020 as part of the stage 2 provincial relaunch. New measures are put in place to ensure safety for staff and children alike, and full compliance with current restrictions and guidelines from the province. We are accepting intake for July, August, and September.

We are proud to announe that our second location of V.I.K. Academy was retained as one of the newest ELCC Centres. In fact, V.I.K. Academy will be the first Governementally funded Child Care Centre located in Okotoks, with a maximum of $25 / day / child. The opening is anticipated for September but we will begin accepting pre-registrations as early as May 1, 2018. Keep visiting our site to find out about our upcoming ON-SITE PRE-REGISTRATION DAY.

Just a few more months until the opening of V.I.K. Academy - Okotoks location! Our second location is nearby the brand new community development of D'Arcy Ranch, on the North limit of the Town, conveniently located for workers communiting to Calgary. In addition to maintaining its current mission and vision, we have the pleasure to also offer an intergenerational program to our clientele, in partnership with Tudor Manor (The Brenda Strafford Foundation).
